Elder Gardening
Lao Advancement Organization of America (LAOA) is offering the following culturally competent services to all Lao elders and other senior citizens 60 years old and older without regard to race, color, gender, nationality, religious belief, or political affiliation.
Summer Gardening:

Summer gardening also work with elders in small groups (16-21 people) to help build trust between community members; help clients restore their confidence, dignity, and self-worth; aid elders in adopting an active and healthy life style; and reduce feelings of isolation, loneliness, and depression.
